yesterday: "Hello, I'm not feeling well today I'm not sure I can make it to work today. If anything changes I'll be there. Sorry, bye." Then it was 2 hours on line in front of Virgin @ Union Square for MCR tix...or rather wristbands which of course were totally worth it and right afterwards, 3 hours on line around the block from Webster Hall where they were playing the same night. Doors @ 6:30 Drive-By @ 8:30 and The Black Parade MCR @ 9:30 Oooooh yeah!!! So 12 hours since I 1st got on line, I emerged w/bruised arms & legs, hair matted down, and drenched in sweat (mine and all the hundreds of people at the venue) finally for a breath "fresh" NYC air. It's supposed to be around 40 something degrees outside but I feel great. It's all totally worth it, the crowd, the moshing, the flailing arms and legs which come down on our heads, the fainting (not me), the pushing & shoving, the jumping , the singing, the crowd whipping beating of our fists high above our heads all accounts for one of the most exhilirating experiences ever. I can't wait to do it again. btw, thank you for all the people who picked up my crazed phone calls and let me try to solicit them into standing on line for me while I went to find parking lol...i you all!! *xoxo* Maybe pictures will appear maybe not depends on how lazy I am heh heh ...and the black parade marches on btw...i G for getting me my black velveteen covered limited edition copy of MCR's Black Parade for only $18 versus the $40 everyone else had to pay for the pre-order, he's just the best...topped J fo' shizzle LOL love love love!!!!! |
